Driver Licensing Access Program NSW

Youthsafe is a proud provider of Transport for NSW Driver Licensing Access Program (DLAP). 

 

This program is funded by Transport for NSW (TfNSW) and assists individuals or groups who are experiencing disadvantage, to get their learner driver licence or pass their Hazard Perception and Driving Tests.

These free services are being made available to eligible individuals aged 16 years or from any communities with limited access to transport options.

Youthsafe is currently offering services from DLAP in:

  • Hornsby
  • Ku-ring-gai
  • Hawkesbury
Youthsafe can assist
  • People wanting to get their Learner Licence.
  • People wanting to undertake the Hazard Perception Test and the Driving Test.
Who is eligible for the assistance?
  • Participants qualify if they are from Aboriginal, refugee and resettlement communities or from any communities with limited access to transport options.
  • Regardless of background, participants also qualify if they are experiencing social or economic hardship or vulnerable young people or those at risk of dropping out of school.
