Currently 22 providers are accredited to deliver the Safer Drivers Course to young learner drivers. The Safer Drivers Course consists of two modules including one three-hour facilitated face-to-face group discussion and one two-hour in-vehicle coaching session on public roads with another learner.
All facilitators and coaches are required to undertake a one day module specific Safer Drivers Course training program, which is provided by Youthsafe on a user pays basis.
Only facilitators and coaches engaged by one of the 22 accredited providers are eligible to participate in Facilitator and Coach training delivered by Youthsafe.
