About the workshop:
This workshop, delivered live online, highlights the critical influence PDHPE teachers and school sporting coaches have on young people and how that influence can be more effectively used to improve young people’s wellbeing and safety in a sporting context. The workshop supports participants to effectively foster student enjoyment of and participation in sport as well as enhance safety through positive coaching approaches.
Key learnings will be communicated through a multi-media presentation, participant activities, group discussion and post-session resources.

The workshop will overview the range of lifestyle, physical and developmental factors that contribute to a young person’s increased risk of injury, with a focus on young people as road users.
It will provide participants with insights, tips and evidence-based strategies that have been developed by Youthsafe’s subject matter experts.
Key learnings will be communicated through a multi-media presentation, participant activities, group discussion and take home resources.

Alternatively Youthsafe is happy to travel to Sydney Metro-based schools to provide our endorsed session(s). Minimum numbers 10. Out of Sydney Metro region will incur additional travel costs.
