Tessa Svoronos Education Programs
Tessa is responsible for the management and implementation of Youthsafe's education programs and education support materials.
A qualified PDHPE/DanceTeacher, Tessa has over 12 years' experience teaching young children, teenagers and adults in health, physical education and performing arts settings.
Tessa has experience in developing risk management and youth safety education sessions that directly address NSW secondary school curriculum objectives and has lectured in tertiary education facilities to student teachers on how to teach injury prevention in a school setting. Most recently at Youthsafe she has contributed to the development of the Safer Drivers Course facilitator and coach training content & support materials as well as the delivery of training sessions.
She holds an Adolescent Development Certificate through the Medical Register of Australia and has recently completed her Masters of Education in Educational Psychology at the University of Sydney.
